Michelin have designed the Pilot Super Sport with a unique dual compound technology that utilizes the characteristics of different rubber compounds between the inner and outer sections of the tread. The outside of the tire features a carbon black reinforced compound derived from Michelin's experiences at Le Mans 24, whilst the inside of the tire uses a compound combination of the latest generation in elastomers to deliver exceptional wet grip.
