The tread pattern is dotted with numerous narrow slots. The sharp edges formed by them allow the tire to reliably cling to a wet surface, providing control over the trajectory of the car in such conditions. The large volume of drainage grooves reduces the risk of forming a stable water film in the contact patch. Tread blocks are offset relative to each other, which increases acoustic comfort, especially inside the car. Their dense arrangement increases the contact patch and further enhances the tread resistance to abrasion.
